The entrance hall of the property
We took part in the total refurbishment of a private residence in Llodio, a duplex that has been completely renovated and in which we have worked with great dedication, paying meticulous care to every detail.
On entering the property, we find ourselves in the hall, a very generous space through which we can access the kitchen area and a corridor. To create a division, we installed a double sliding door in the hall, at the entrance to the kitchen.
The sliding door features a glass upper panel and a blind lower panel. We fitted a glazing bead over the upper glass panel, thereby creating a smooth arch to cover the partition wall.
We designed the two leaves —which are of identical size and proportions— to ensure that one door is in front of the other when they are opened. They are lacquered in white and have a special rail hanging system that allowed us to hang the mechanism within the leaf itself. As a result, with the exception of the upper rail, the entire mechanism is hidden when the doors are opened.
Details of the hall wardrobe
Opposite the sliding door, we installed an L-shaped wardrobe, lacquered in white with a laminated fabric interior. This unit, which is used as a closet, is made with frames recessed in each leaf. We actually made two frames of different sizes: a larger upper frame and a smaller one in the lower part.
We added black handles by Formani and a folding opening system with fittings by the German company Hettich.
The living room
Moving along the corridor, we come to the living room area. Here we created an oak panelling façade with a natural oak finish, into which a TV screen was fitted in the centre. We also created a frame to enclose the television screen. We installed a control panel in the bottom part to allow access to the property’s installations.
Main bedroom and dressing room area
Access to the main bedroom on the top floor of this private residence in Llodio is by a spiral staircase.
As this room is of such generous proportions, we decided to create a dressing room area with U-shaped wardrobes measuring 3m x 2m, with white lacquered doors. These follow the same style as the wardrobe in the entrance hall on the lower floor, with two frames, but with one notable difference: this time we attached a bulrush grille at the top of the frame.
Once again, we fitted 15cm handles by Formani in a white finish. The interior of the wardrobes in the dressing room is made of laminated fabric, selected by the owners of the property. Drawers, shelves and a range of hanging elements were fitted for the storage of clothes and accessories. In addition, we also covered up various installations in the house, such as the underfloor heating control panel.
Children’s room
We installed a three-door wardrobe in the children’s room, with smooth overlay moulding and three vertical frames of different sizes. We fitted a moulded panel to the central frame, with ball-type textile handles. The front is lacquered in white. The interior of the wardrobe is made of made of laminated fabric, matching the rest of the wardrobes in the rest of the house.
