House in Calle Atxekolandeta

Here we share a house renovation carried out under the direction of Macarena Barcia. The duplex is located in the area of Neguri, in Getxo.

The kitchen

It was an open space where we made an arch between the kitchen area and the living room area. In this case, we chose a lacquered finish in a very unique grey-black colour, with a channel to house the shutter guides for closing off the two areas in order to ensure the safety of the structure.

 This coating is practical, covers the area and adds class and uniqueness. It is a special finish that will leave visitors with a lasting impression of the property.

Details of the master bedroom

A sliding door lacquered in grey, almost black, leads from the kitchen to the master bedroom. This door is unique in its size: it covers the area from floor to ceiling, and has a retractable sliding system made by Klein, with a metal handle made by Di Dihheya.

This door is very easy to use and provides a visually spectacular clean look. The chosen finish and the hardware ensure that a simple door can add style to a house.

Large walk-in wardrobe in the house in Atxekolandeta

The master bedroom leads into the walk-in wardrobe area. From our experience we know that having a walk-in wardrobe is something that many people aspire to. Moreover, in this case, it meets the needs of the people who live in this house.

A very special synchronised pore laminate made by Finsa was chosen by Macarena Barcia for its design and construction, finished in oak, with hanging elements designed for the garments that will be put into it: shirts, shelves for t-shirts and jumpers… and drawers made with dovetail joints.

Sliding shelves have been incorporated into the walk-in wardrobe to act as a shoe rack.

A bathroom area where wallpaper adds warmth

The dressing room area leads to the bathroom area, with the wallpaper in the corridor providing warmth. Here we made two cupboards lacquered in a very special black, with the area inside of the door edging papered with the same wallpaper as the rest of the walls.

 Lacquered sliding doors have been fitted between the different rooms, in a light colour that matches the colour of the wallpaper. The structure is finished off with a dark lacquered top edge to frame the end of the paper. The result is spectacular, as can be seen in the images of this house.
